Day 1: Welcome to the City of Warmth Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be met by your private guide and transferred to your hotel. Settle in and feel the first embrace of this historic capital.

Day 2: Old Tbilisi – Where Time Stands Still Spend the morning wandering the labyrinthine streets of Old Tbilisi. You’ll explore the colorful carved balconies, ancient sulfur baths, and the Narikala Fortress. After a relaxing lunch, dive deep into history at the National Museum and the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum, where traditional wooden houses offer a glimpse into Georgia’s diverse past. Enjoy a free evening to discover the city’s vibrant wine bar scene.

Day 3: David Gareja & the City of Love We journey east into the semi-desert to visit David Gareja, a breathtaking 6th-century rock-hewn monastery complex. From there, we reach Sighnaghi, the "City of Love," perched high above the Alazani Valley with views of the Greater Caucasus. To top off the day, we visit a family cellar in Velistsikhe for a wine tasting and a masterclass in making Churchkhela, Georgia’s favorite sweet.

Day 4: The Heart of Kakheti Explore the royal legacy of Kakheti. Visit the soaring Gremi Castle and the elegant Tsinandali Estate, once the palace of Prince Chavchavadze. We’ll pay our respects at the majestic Alaverdi Cathedral—one of the tallest in the country—and explore the ruins of Ikalto Academy, where legends say the great poet Shota Rustaveli studied.

Day 5: UNESCO Gems & The Stalin Mystery Our journey continues to Mtskheta, the ancient religious capital and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the sacred Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Next, we travel back in time at the Uplistsikhe cave town, followed by a visit to the Joseph Stalin Museum in Gori. We end the day in the lush, green forests of Borjomi to taste its world-famous mineral water directly from the spring.

Day 6: The Cave City of the Queen Today is dedicated to Vardzia, a magnificent 12th-century cave monastery carved into the side of a mountain by Queen Tamar. On the way, we pause at the formidable Khertvisi Fortress, one of the oldest in the country. We return to Akhaltsikhe to explore the multicultural charm of the city.

Day 7: The Legends of Colchis We cross into Western Georgia to reach Kutaisi, the legendary land of the Golden Fleece. Here, you’ll marvel at the UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery and the Bagrati Cathedral. In the afternoon, descend into the "underworld" at Sataplia Nature Reserve to see preserved dinosaur footprints and stunning karst caves.

Day 8: Into the Wild Highlands of Svaneti The scenery changes dramatically as we head toward the high Caucasus. In Zugdidi, we visit the elegant Dadiani Palace, then witness the engineering marvel of the Inguri Dam. As we wind up the mountain roads, the famous stone towers of Mestia appear. This evening, enjoy a traditional Svanetian dinner with a local family—an experience you’ll never forget.

Day 9: Ushguli – The Roof of Europe A 4WD adventure takes us to Ushguli (2,200m), the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe. This UNESCO site feels frozen in time, with its medieval towers guarded by the massive Shkhara Glacier. Explore the ancient frescoes of the Lamaria Church before returning to Mestia.

Day 10: From Mountains to the Sea Leaving the peaks behind, we descend back through the emerald forests of Samegrelo. We follow the winding roads toward the Black Sea coast, arriving in the sparkling, neon-lit city of Batumi just in time for a sunset stroll.

Day 11: Subtropical Paradise & Roman Ruins Enjoy a free morning on Batumi’s famous 8km seaside boulevard. Later, we visit the Gonio-Apsaros Fortress, a Roman citadel rich with myth and history. We’ll also explore the world-renowned Batumi Botanical Garden, where exotic plants from nine different climates overlook the turquoise sea.

Day 12: The Road Home & A Farewell Toast We begin our return journey to Tbilisi. Along the way, we stop at the small monastery of Ubisa to admire some of the most beautiful 14th-century frescoes in the world. Upon arrival in Tbilisi, enjoy some last-minute shopping or a stroll through the city before we gather for a grand farewell dinner to toast to your 12-day love affair with Georgia.

Day 13: Departure Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport for your flight home, taking with you a piece of Georgia in your heart.
