“Snow Holidays” tour starts in the morning by departing from Tbilisi. Our driver will pick you up at the place of your stay in Tbilisi.

The route heads to the north of Tbilisi in direction to mount Kazbegi. The first stop is Jvari temple (VI c,UNESCO) near Mtskheta city. From the temple, travelers find an amazing view on Mtskheta and junction of two rivers, Mtkvari and Aragvi and this is the best place for taking pictures of Mtskheta city and surrounding area.

After 15-20 minutes stop at Jvari Temple the Snow Tour continues its way via Georgian military road to Jinvali reservoir, the youngest reservoir in Georgia with picturesque sights. In fact, from there starts the mountains of Great Caucasus. The mixture of the huge lake surrounded with high snowy mountains makes an unforgettable impression on travelers.

Hence comes Ananuri fortress, one of the greatest samples of fortification in Georgia, with its XVI-XVII cc fortification wall and watchtowers.

The final destination is Gudauri ski resort, one of the most popular winter resorts in Georgia 2200 meters above sea level. Gudauri ski resort’s first lift station stayed at the altitude 1,990 m above sea level and the last, top station is at 3,306 m, called summit of mount Sadzele.

Before spending the remain of the day, playing in the snow and enjoying crystal fresh air of the Caucasus mountains, the last stop of the tour is at Friendship monument of Georgia and Russia, built in 1983. From the terrace of the monument, travelers can find mesmerizing panoramic views over the Caucasus mountains and river Aragvi gorge.
